URBAN PLANNER:
Wendel is seeking a full-time Urban Planner to join our winning team. This position will include assisting with project assignments to meet the needs of our clients, supporting and implementing the requirements for project work as directed, and will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing concept studies and plans. The applicant must have a Planning degree and 5-7 years of experience in Zoning and Land Use Planning, SEQR, and general municipal planning consultation. A Masters in Urban Planning is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create good relationships and have excellent communication and writing skills. SURVEY CREW CHIEF:
Wendel is seeking a talented, team-oriented Survey Crew Chief to join our firm. In this position, you would be leading a field team in various engineering and land surveying projects such as boundary, topographic, highway and construction projects under the direction of the project manager; implementing field requirements; and performing related office tasks such as processing and adjusting data, earthwork calculations and mapping. Applicant should have an Associate’s Degree in related field (or working towards) and five years of documented field experience. Must be familiar with Electronic Data Collection, GPS and Robotic Total Stations, and AutoCAD. Microstation a plus. This position will require working outdoors in various weather and site conditions. ARCHTIECT:
SGN/Wendel is seeking a professional with an Architectural Degree to work in our Minneapolis Office. Minimum 2-years of experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit is required. Experience on educational and/or transportation projects a plus. Apply here.
PROPOSAL COORDINATOR:
In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination, production and quality assurance of Statement of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and interview and sales materials. You must be able to write and design company brochures, project highlight sheets, company resumes, project histories, and other written materials to support business development and marketing campaigns. You must also be adept at preparing concepts, graphic design, final files for printed and electronic sales, marketing, and project related initiatives. This candidate must efficiently and effectively perform internet based research for developing and investigating market leads. Experience working with team members virtually is desired. The ability to work additional hours when required is necessary. A minimum AAS or equivalent in Arts or Marketing is required. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, be very proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher, and have Adobe Photoshop experience. The position will require the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and details simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, provide self-direction, diplomacy and a courteous and professional manner when dealing with internal or external clients. SENIOR WASTEWATER ENGINEER:
Experience in hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, and energy usage/analysis will add to our team’s strength. The candidate must have a strong background in water and wastewater process planning, design, and construction administration of large infrastructure projects. Responsibilities also include assisting in the engineering and management of project assignments to meet the needs of Clients. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. A PE is required, but we will consider experience and background. We are looking for levels of experience between 10 and 15 years. Additional experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater design and green infrastructure knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities also include assisting in the engineering and management of project assignments to meet the needs of Clients. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. A PE is required, but we will consider experience and background. We are looking for levels of experience between 8 and 15 years.
