PROJECT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - MINNEAPOLIS:
SGN Wendel would like you to come join our winning team in our Minneapolis office. We need a self-starter who is able to work in a collaborative team environment to assist with administrative and business development duties and assignments. Travel may be required as we are a regional office to a national company. Familiarity with the greater Minnesota area is a plus. This position requires excellent organizational skills, demonstrated leadership qualities, and extensive Microsoft Office experience including presentation preparation. Other duties include coordinating meetings, proposal preparation, document control, scheduling, and various reception duties. Minimum 2-year degree and 2 year’s related experience. Architecture and construction industry experience a plus.
LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:
Wendel is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join our team. This person would assist with contractual documents for design and construction projects; insurance certificates management; professional licensing to do business in several jurisdictions; and general corporate matters. Candidate must have the ability to identify, prioritize, and manage important administrative issues, multi-task and effectively prioritize work assignments in addition to handling changing priorities. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external contacts. Candidate should display a great deal of initiative and the ability to work independently under pressure in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, composure, and professionalism at all times. Candidate must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information. Requirements include 3-5 years experience in the corporate or legal environment, strong computer skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in the Business or Legal field preferred. Architectural/engineering or construction industry background a plus.
NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR:
Wendel is seeking a dynamic and outgoing professional to join our IT department. In this position you would be responsible for network administration, routine operations, break-fix support and maintenance. You would also analyze, troubleshoot and assist in installing, configuring and maintaining system hardware and software. Critical skills include: effectively communicating in written and verbal form, excellent customer service, excellent problem-solver, self-motivated, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing, and time management. Travel may be required. BS in computer science, engineering or computer information systems and a minimum of 3 years experience in IT network administration. Five years of experience and MCSE certification may be substituted for BS degree. Other information technology or project management certifications a plus. Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
Projects including new construction and renovation of higher education, K-12, healthcare, intermodal and commercial facilities. Plan and design integrated high-performance mechanical systems, focus on energy conservation and sustainability. BSME, min. 5 yrs. progressive technical experience and AutoCAD. NYSPE, LEED & DOE-2 energy modeling experience desired. BIM & REVIT a plus.
ENERGY ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY:
Position available in Wendel’s Buffalo and Long Island office for individuals with 2-5 years experience In Energy Engineering. Experience performing Energy Audits, Analysis, Design & Implementation of energy related facility improvements. BSME or BSEE required. Construction Management experience and PE license a plus.
Our company is seeking an energetic, self-motivated electrical designer to work on exciting project teams in a collaborative, multi-discipline, architectural and engineering office environment. Diverse project types include new construction and renovation of higher education, K-12, healthcare, intermodal, and commercial facilities. Plan and design integrated high-performance electrical systems with a focus on energy conservation and sustainability. Qualification shall include a minimum AAS in electrical engineering, minimum of 2 years of progressive technical experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. BIM and REVIT experience is a plus.
BRIDGE ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER:
Wendel is seeking a Bridge Project Manager to assist with regional expansion in this field. Requirements include DOT bridge design experience in conjunction with a PE license, Bachelors in engineering and 10 years of related experience. The ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to successfully complete day to day operation of this position as a Project Manager. Strong analytical skills and use of structural software is desired.
CIVIL ENGINEER:
If your passion is making a difference in the community, we need you! Experience in water and wastewater treatment design as well as hydraulics will add to our team’s strength. Experience with AutoCAD knowledge is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. A PE is desired, but we will consider experience and background. We are looking for 6 years minimum experience.
TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER:
FT engineer responsible for highway design, reports, plans, specifications & estimates. BS in Civil Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience in highway engineering, MS degree or EIT a plus. InRoads experience preferred. NYSDOT & NYSTA engineering experience a plus.
