GIS Developer (Williamsville, NY): Wendel, an ESRI business partner, is seeking an innovative GIS Application Developer with expert development skill for our Williamsville, NY office. This position will support companywide projects and clients across different disciplines. The selected candidate will lead and be involved in all phases of application development life cycle, from requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, testing, implementation of GIS solutions, and documentation. The ideal candidate must have extensive GIS experience at an enterprise level in addition to database development/management and programming. The applicant will have the primary responsibility of administering and maintaining Wendel’s ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE databases and GIS software infrastructure, as well as, administering and maintaining client ArcGIS Servers and their GIS software infrastructure. This candidate will develop new GIS web-based applications, and maintain and enhance existing GIS applications and geoprocessing scripts. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience developing web and desktop GIS solutions, a Bachelors Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Geography of related discipline and have experience in Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio. Wastewater Engineer - Entry Level (Williamsville, NY): If you passion is making a difference in the community, we need you! We are looking for an entry-level engineer interested in furthering their career in the water and wastewater fields. We have two (2) positions open. Both require a NICET Level 2 Certification in highway construction inspection and utility(waterline, sewerline, stormsewer, and bridge inspection) experience preferred along with knowledge and use of Microsoft Office. In this position you will be responsible for developing comprehensive energy audits, including data collection, utility bill disaggregation and benchmarking; field visits; energy calculations; cost estimates and contractor pricing, energy measure descriptions and detailed work scope packages; report writing; development of measurement and verification plans and contract documents. Survey Crew Chief (Williamsville, NY): We are looking for a talented Survey Crew Chief to join our team. If you are skilled in the latest survey technology, can successfully lead a field team, and collaborate with our project managers to achieve our goals, then you might be our ideal candidate!
