Project Objective
Outokumpu American Brass, a major manufacturer of brass and copper products, asked Wendel Duchscherer to assist in analyzing and implementing energy efficiency improvements throughout its production facility.

Solution
Wendel Duchscherer evaluated energy systems and identified specific opportunities to reduce energy consumption at Outokumpu. We provided a design-build approach for the design, purchase, and installation of all materials and equipment for the energy conservation project. Our services included:
- An energy efficiency study to identify
  energy reducing opportunities, including
  pinch analysis of energy and process
  systems.
- Design, specifications, purchasing and
  installing equipment, process systems,
  and utilities.
- Provided project and construction
  management from the design phase
  through final construction.
- Coordinated start-up and training for
  Outokumpu employees.
