Municipal facilities contain functions that are integral to public health, safety and welfare.  For example, for the Town of Lockport, Wendel consolidated Court and State Police facilities into a new building. The new building was located in a manner to avoid conflict with emergency and highway vehicles, while accommodating increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The design provided functional separation of police and court use and achieved savings in construction and O&M costs. The building also set the architectural theme for future campus renovations of highway garage and administrative offices. 

 

We adapted an existing commercial building for a combined use as a

water/sewer maintenance facility and building inspection/assessing department.

In order to better serve the needs of expanded residential neighborhoods and streets,

Wendel provided space planning, alteration and additions to the existing highway facility.

 

Wendel also provides ongoing services for HVAC systems, roof replacements, lighting, window replacements including resourcing NYSERDA grants to evaluate energy savings and NYSEG grant for lighting replacements.
