Construction Management

As Construction Managers, we optimize our services by offering project delivery options as a CM-as-Agent or CM-at-Risk. Our CM-as-Agent services provide for overall project management including scheduling, cost estimating, value engineering, prequalification of bidders, bid procurement, review and qualification of successful bidders, budget and cost control, document control, quality assurance, claims avoidance, and project closeout. In addition to the services noted, when acting as a CM-at-Risk, Wendel holds all the subcontracts for completion of the construction offering a higher level of cost control and scheduling. Wendel’s expertise in utilizing either approach along with our ability to keep pace with tight schedules, balance efficiency and constructability has prove to bring in projects on time and in budget.
 

Construction Administration

As Construction Administrators, our primary role is to represent the Owner / Client at all project meetings and other associated matters relating to the construction of the project. Our Construction Administration services can be provided by a full time on-site representative or through periodic site visits.  As the CA, our responsibilities would include the comprehensive and timely administration of all project related documentation and information, record observations related to the status of completion, quality of workmanship and compliance with the Contract Documents. 
  

Construction Observation

As Construction Observers, we would monitor the quality, cost, and rate of completion for the project as it is constructed. Our services would include construction quality review, budget review, documenting changed conditions, verification of quantity measurements, monthly payment request review, and community liaison and project closeout.
 

Design-Build

As Design Builders, we are a single source responsible for the design and construction of the project from conception through completion. We have stream lined our DB services by offering a Cost Plus approach or a Guaranteed Maximum Price. With the Cost Plus approach we act as a Construction Manager based on the cost of the subcontractors and a fee based on the percentage of the cost. Our Guaranteed Maximum Price approach establishes a not to exceed budget based on a well defined and explicit scope of work.
